San Timoteo fue disc\u00edpulo de Teoctisto y tambi\u00e9n de San Platon del Monasterio Studion (5 de abril).<\/p>\n<p>Alcanz\u00f3 un alto grado de perfecci\u00f3n espiritual y\u00a0 recibi\u00f3 de Dios el don de curar a los enfermos y la expulsi\u00f3n de esp\u00edritus inmundos. Pas\u00f3 muchos a\u00f1os como un ermita\u00f1o recorriendo el desierto, las monta\u00f1as y los bosques, tanto de d\u00eda como\u00a0 de noche orando todo el tiempo al Se\u00f1or Dios.
